DCCC continues fundraising supremacy

House Democrats are continuing their fundraising supremacy over Republicans despite their minority status.

The Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee raised over $6 million in January, outpacing the National Republican Congressional Committee’s $4.8 million, according to fundraising totals released Friday afternoon.

The DCCC, which launched a vigorous fundraising campaign after Democrats lost the majority in 2010, has persistently outraised the NRCC over the course of the cycle, taking in $67 million to the NRCC’s $59 million.

Republicans still have more cash in the bank, however. The NRCC has $17 million to the DCCC’s $13 million.

The Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee bested the National Republican Senatorial Committee by almost $1 million in January and holds a $2 million cash on hand advantage.
